My wife and I have ridden the singetrack in Prescott, and now we want to try flagstaff. Has anyboby got a trail number or two we can try?

The Fort Valley trail system is a lot of fun. About 26 miles of single track. Good range of easy to difficult. Go out 180 from Flag to 164B and just a hundred yards or so in, go right and there's a trail head and parking. If you get to Snowbowl road you went too far, or you can go up Snowbowl road and take a right on NF522. The riding area is basically between 180 on the south, Snowbowl road on the west, Schultz Pass road on the east and 522 on the north. Motorcycles and mountain bikes only. No ATVs. Like Redeye said, Anthony at Absolute Bikes in downtown Flag on 66 can sell you maps and knows the area really well.

There is a new area recently approved by the NFS which will eventually go from roughly the airport to Munds Park. The Coconino Trail Riders have regular trail days out there to build single track. We've built 3+ miles so far, with 50+ to go! Next trail day is June 22 and we could use your help. See this thread for info.

Thanks for all the info . The wife and I are headed up there this weekend just to scout out camping and some trails. The Coconino trailriders club looks like its worth checking out.
