Emulators work great on my DR with stiffer springs and the gold valve in the back makes the shock work better then some real dirt bikes ive owned.

I just got the Suspension back from the rebuilder.... New Eibach springs, Had the forks "emulated" and rebuilt and the rear shock revalved by BR1 suspension instead of Gold valving it. Unfortunately I've not had time to get the bike back together yet, maybe tomorrow. Can't wait to ride it.

The rear only has adjustable compression damping.
How do the lowering links keep the rear wheel travel vs the shock mount hole?
