This will be fantastic!:clap Bob Hoover is a true American hero and aviation legend, not to mention one heck of a nice guy. I used to sit on the wing of his P-51 with him at Reno every year following the Unlimited Gold race while he signed autographs for fans. What a time to be a kid who loved airplanes........

I finally broke down and scheduled an hour for next weekend. Been ~7 months since I've committed aviation...

Wow, thats cool! My Grandma built those in WWII. She was a welder and did a lot of welding on the aluminum fuel tanks and lots of other bits from the sound of it.

I was bored this morning, and was poking around RCUniverse.com, when I came across this:

Great Planes/Harold Wagner Piper J-3 twin Cub (RTF)

So, I fired up my Google Fu, and ran across this:

A tad more at the bottom of the page, along with some other aviation oddities...

There's been some interesting stuff attempted in the evolution of avation, to say the least...

Somebody requested a snowy, full moon night flying video. My sack isn't big enough to shoot that, but I did get a new camera for Christmas and put this together. There's snow at least... This is my first attempt and I have quite a bit of jelly effect in it, but thought I would post it anyway.
