I definitely want togo to thisbut I have to see what life throws at me next yyear.

A vegetarian option (I'm not vegi either but I have had to cook for them multiple times in the past 2 years) would be a homemade chili recipe.

I mighthave to get back to you on iingredients bit of I remember roght it was

    Hominy
    black bbeans
    Pinto beans
    taco seasoning
    ranch dressing dip mix
    ranch beans
    grilling beans

It's reallygood and easy to make. Figure 1 can / packet for eevery 4 people. You put everything in a big pot, mix it and heat to boiling.

    Phox,

Welcome to the asylum ! I hope you can make out for a great weekend of riding! The TAT comes through pretty close to Gunnison, so you could just start in MS and find your way out to WF'15.

I'l have to get a head count on the folks that want a vegitarian meal when we get closer to August, and then come up with a more solid plan.

The last time I was in CO was back in 09. It was one of my greatest trips for a few reasons. I rode WF that year with a 5mm kidney stone and back to Ar before having it surgically removed. Would be nice to go back if I have vacation time. Its going to be hard to come alone, but what a sight it would be to see the grey in the sky as you approach the mountains.

I've been trying to make it to a WF for years--perhaps this will be the year. I will be more than happy to help out with vegetarian food ideas, at the very least. If I can make it, I'll even help with the cooking.

Man you're right there! 09 was a blast. Perfect weather ( big escape from the Arkansas weather. If I remember correctly it was already hitting 100deg that july). I'll be trucking in this time, i swore never again, will i ride across Kansas or Oklahoma. Wasted Tires, Oil, and Ass. But I did ride from Little rock to KC, Mo five hour break then straight to CO.

    I'm in.

Everyone appreciates those who step up to manage these events. I know I do.

I have all the de-noobing goodies on hand, and I'm not afraid to use them!

The KOA office will close for the season on October 1st, so reservations will need to be made online, make sure to put "ADV Westfest" in the notes section. There will be plenty of tent space for everybody!

Big thanks to the Gunnison Kiwanis for cooking breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings
