Thanks for the excellent pics and videos everyone! :clap

Mine is currently apart and I suck at posting pics anyway, but here is what she'll look like when done:

Yes, I somehow got hold of a Barney the Dinosaur purple one. Currently searching out parts and going through the electric box.

FWIW, this thread would really be appreciated in Old's Cool; to my knowlege there is not a dedicated BSA thread there.

I cetainly did consider that, but have posted many a pic of my beezer there.
Thought a topic in pic's might stir new interest.
Some one could post in old's cool with a linky?:deal

Besides, folks in old's cool know what a BSA is. I can't tell you how many times I have had a passer-by shake their head raise their arms, palms to the sky and ask...
    "what is it?":huh

Well more than 30 years now I've had the dream of owning a 650 twin like this. It's the styling that says it all.
Cheaped out and got into 650 yamahas.
I've traded off bsa's on rides and rode a royal star 500 twin all the way back.
Had a triple for 9 months.

The military ones are M20s-500cc. The blue bike is actually a 650 Lightning, from 1970.Most you see are red. As you might guess, BSA also made rifles. When I get rifle clips for that parabike, Maybe I'll hang a BSA on that.

I'm very happy to have the same braking power as the "big boys".
And the same restyled electrics and controls.

I see scopes advertized that are using the BSA logo.
Afilliated with the original bsa factory?
Or somebody trying to associate their product with the history?
