The familiar site of my new (to me) pride and joy loaded to the gunnels

I had to ride over to Shep532s' house where we loaded the 950 onto the trailer as we had Shep532 Junior come along this time and his 250 was in the back of the van.

We pitched the tents and went to the watering hole.

    Rockhopper

    The bike park :deal

    The new diesel Tenere :rofl

Vtwinsforme doing his best gnome impression, don't be fooled he's well over 6 foot.

    Shep532

    Shep532 Jnr.

    Tijgerke

You notice he's getting a little giddy with the right hand?

Then he heads straight for me and I have to get outta the way sharpish!!! :huh

Cool as you like Tailender Oldroadrider

We did some cracking lanes, lots of testing ruts and some great scenery.

I had a problem with the slave cylinder, but it wasn't going to stop my day, no mineral oil could be found so imagine the look on the garage attendants face when two muddy bikers asked for a bottle of baby oil? :eek1 :lol3

We put the theory to the test and I'm happy to say it did the job and we continued on for the early part of the afternoon.

We had some evening entertainment from Chubbythumper who'd brought a chinese lantern to go off, we had visions of a trail of destruction as tents were set ablaze, but I'm happy all went to plan :D

A great weekend was had and it was good to meet up with old friends and meet new, can't wait till the next time :freaky

    Finally home.

I had my orange one stolen not far from your work :cry outside the Irish Centre on York Road. Devastated I was, but I've got this beauty now and I've got to look forward. :D

Shame you couldn't make it at the weekend, it would've been good to meet up again.

At last I found time ti upload the few pics I took.

    The camp site
    [IMG]

Our tailender Will ........ will what you ask? No no no ..... that's his name - WILL (short for Will)

One of those "where are we" moments
    [IMG]

Apparently these girls turned out in support of our Yoekshireman DeeGee. He's from a land where men are men and sheep are worried (is that right Gav?)

MikeyShep Jnr on his WR250. May have been the novice of the group but at times he showed most of us up!!

Except for here where he need a little bit of help
    [IMG]

Time for a fuel stop where Tom discovered just how expensive Diesel is here in the UK :evil
    [IMG]

Rob and his new 'bling' jacket (look at Wil in the background - he's dazzled)

    The unstoppable WR250
    [IMG]

Tom on his Tenere - for once going in a straight line (can you smell diesel?)

Ahhh ............ maybe not going in a straight line :roflMust have diesel on the back tyre
    [IMG]

    What a view eh?

Mmmm ........ looks like it might be a little tricky ahead
    [IMG]

I tried the run-up technique - didn't work. I think I may have slipped on a patch of diesel (!)

    "Go on - gizza go"

"aww ........ go on - you can ride my big un"

    What a lovely view
    [IMG]

Sorry - I meant this pic
    What a lovely view
    [IMG]

Even better now there's a KTM in it!

    And finally back home

Quick strip down would see him back in action

    Nice view though

Then Micks Honda wouldn't start Lenny to the rescue

Nearly got Rob upside down the look on his face was a picture as I went for the camera :evil

Always a tricky section 2 victims at once :D

    Day2

Started with Gazz joining us as Leader Rob and I would take turns tail ending well that worked for 500 yards :D

Possu forgot his safety glasses so we stopped in the village meanwhile Gazz took a wrong turn that meant we took the correct route and got in front of Gazz.We thought he was in front so we set a brisk pace to catch up.
We'll we never caught Gazz so Possu had a ride leader and tail ender all to himself bloody good fun we had to, 2 400 exc's and my 640 adv made for a quick pace just what the 3 of us needed.
Only got a couple of pics

Possu after catching the family jewels on the tank

    No problems with water today

    Bloody hell Deegee :kboom
the same bike stolen very close by. It means that somebody is after LC8s in that area of Leeds. This is a problem.
I guess Leeds is not a big city and there are very few LC8 around. Where are this stolen bikes going? Is there any used spares market around, they going somewhere far to be sold as second hand or a just used by some bastard on the lanes?
I am desperate to find my old one.

You know soon or later these bastards will pass under my hand in orizontal position...:evil You know what I mean...

    Ciao
