Hmmmm.... the WZ131 has an 85mm and a 100mm Tier 8 to choose from.

The 85 is one of those guns that shoots HEAT - 260 penn and 200 damage.
The 100 does a best of 241 penn with 50 more damage.

.36 vs .39 accuracy - in favor of the 85.

To keep the 85mm and the 260 penn or to upgrade? :hmmmmm

Holee shit! I sold my T1E6 and picked up an M4 with the Derp and made ALL my money back for all the upgrades and started profiting again after 5 battles!

    Glad to hear it!

    Smithy... do you have premium?

It's a different play style withthe 105 - too inaccurate to snipe with most times (and too expensive to miss), but the up-in-your-face fun isn't to be missed when there is a special to help pay for those Gold rounds.

In a tier 7 battle I raced up to the real action - the big tanks - just to lay down the law with it, lol.

I do, but I'd swear that my first 10 battles I wasn't getting the event bonus. It's raking in fine now, though 50k profits are a bit high to expect. Didn't take me long to sort out the derpapotomous tactic again. Closing in on 250k silver earned today.

    x2 :rofl:lol3

    Smithy, you crack me up.

And guys, the next time you see Smithy on TS, just listen to the man and count how many phrases/sayings/quips he makes that could easily be recorded - in his OWN voice - and used as hilarious crew commentary throughout your WoT battles :D

I've never said that to Smithy, but I swear its true. He's got the voice and the quips. It's hilarious.

You have me smiling every time. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure if you were aware of it, but ... there was one evening I could have probably made a nearly complete voice-pack for the game out of your comments :lol3

The schwartz just isn't with me this evening. I am sucking it up bad. A couple 7-800 XP rounds, but otherwise some strong showings in the nineties. Maybe that's just because I am listening to Dinosaur Jr.

well... derping in TD's is fun, you can do it in the T-18 at Tier 2, the Valentine AT at tier 3, and the British tier 4 TD ( I forget it's name), and the Hetzer at tier 4. I wish I had the M4 to be able to Derp at tier 5... :cry I don't want to grind the Lee again....

I forgot to add that it appears that the Tier 4 British TD is a steel wall waiting to happen, I have seen many of them getting the steel wall and/or Cool headed awards. I was amazed at a tier 4 routinely getting the Cool headed award, I know in the T-18 it is normal course of action with the flack guns that are run at tier 2, but Tier 4?

yes, they are very hard to pen from the front. And the sides, sometimes as well. A little too much.

It's the Tier 5 AT-2 that gets regular Steel Walls, not Tier 4 Alecto. The Alecto is as soft as they come.

Quokka is a friend of mine (from the game).

Australian, generally holds pretty far back, uses HE rounds more than most, and usually pretty tipsy from drinking wine each night.

Good game though. Great game, in fact.

5658.....I'm running a mod that shows damage instead of health left.

I tried to track him so I could flank him and missed...and then he tracked me. Yeah, it was a pretty good game, even for a loss. I was so wound up after it that I had to take 5 and calm my nerves.

And I'll take 105K net creds in a battle any day of the week.....:evil

See this post. I don't know if it requires XVM or not. While I'm posting links, I might as well throw this one up there too. That's a copy of my 0.8.4 res mods folder. It has XVM, Jimbo's Crosshairs, the stats mod and an icon pack in there, all running. If anyone wants to use it, feel free.

Edit: I missed that you also need XVM-Stat to make this work. XVM-Stat and it's config file need to be in your main WoT directory, and then use the XVM-Stat exe file to start WoT.
