I must admit an addiction. I love motorhomes. I think it's the whole self containment thing. All in one package able to survive. But like some fetishes I have on that I have not been able to satisfy. I want one of these in the worst way. These things are just butt ugly enough to be beautiful. You can find real nice ones in the 3k range. I mean is this cute as a bug or what? I nwgs admit that I cruise craigslist daily in search of satisfaction of my motorhome fetish. Am I OK? Just take a look at these little beautys... http://images.google.com/imgres?img...:official&sa=G&um=1&ei=b5oUSpCuIKLaswPNkJGyCQ
I'll see your Winnie and raise you an Argosy. Built on basically the same chassis. There used to be one of these around here that some dude was living in. I used to see it parked at various places all over town. I have to admit I'd really like to have one.
Motorhome. Ok. Fer shur. But, right now is the best time to get one, cheap, but, most important, get a new one. Because they wear out fast, and you have to replace every single item on them. So, in the end, you have what, a new one. Get the whole package new from the start, and even then it will have problems with it and you will begin fixing it from the start. Now of course I have no personal knowledge of these facts (well, maybe a little?), but it's like a boat. Not as much of a maintenance nightmare, but close. A new one is your own personal headache. Getting a used one is picking up someone else's headache. dc
Dude, totally correct. I saw a Monaco diesel 330 cummins a couple days ago. Loaded with a large slide for 44k. 2001. Check out this little beauty. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/rvs/1180706665.html
Pete do you constantly send e-mails to your buds showing them the latest "great deal"? admit your addiction Pete..
I'm hearing your noise! My in-laws are home for the summer with their coach. I just love these...the older ones anyway.
nwgs - there is NO hope for Pete! But I know when to buy - the beeyatch is when to sell!!! I think that RVs are a lot like the two best days in a boat owner's life....
And for some reason, I like these too... Put the running gear from a modern Dodge truck, ie with a Cummins...
Check out some of these. Warning dumb music auto plays when you click the link. http://hmcmotorhomes.homestead.com/1989_HMC.html
