It's not supercharged and less boy racer but you can buy it here, now. http://www.chevrolet.com/culture/article/ss-performance-sedan-debut.html

A lot of the Vauxhall line-up is from Opel and we do get some of them. I'm guessing you mean more specifically the Corsa VXR. Interestingly enough the Corsa uses a GM/Fiat platform. The Sonic got a RS version this year but that includes mostly suspension changes. I'd like to see the Sonic get bumped up to 200 hp and go after the Ford Fiesta ST that's coming in 2014.

What? An M3? For double the price?!

    AMG? Ditto on the $$

With the old GTO based on the Monaro and the newer G8 based on its replacement you got 'darn near M3 performance' at a significantly reduced price. :nod

The one *I* want to see is the wagon: v8 and awd? Sign me up!

Well, since we aren't ALL ignorant, I remember the Carlton, but its old compared to what we are talking about. For that matter, how bout the super Lancia integrale Evo that I LOVE so much then?

At a starting price of $95,000 AUD or about $97,600 USD for the HSV GTS, that's well into AMG E63 and M5 territory.

I'm impressed that you know the Carlton. You do have good taste in BMW's. Here's the Holden I want.
