Got this from some academic health article. Wonder now if all those years with plenty fun off-road riding with hard and narrow seats has taken its toll, info to all young guys it still matters..

"...You can also purchase specially made seats that are better designed for example they are softer and better shaped to reduce the chances of becoming impotent. The seats should be wide and not narrow. These seats are designed for males who ride long distances. You can also buy covers for the seat that are softer and well cushioned (some are filled with gel) that will reduce the pressure in the genital area. Another solution is to wear padded biking shorts. Also if you feel numbness in your genital area, stop riding for a few days. Instead, use your car and if you don't have one use public transport to move around."

everything you read. Bike and motorcycle seats have been the same for 100 years, and our population still grows. you might need a softer or wider seat if you are carrying extra weight, around the waist, but for the most part you will be fine with your stock seat.
Now get out there and procreate

"...a new scientific study conducted jointly by Yamaha Motor and Tohoku University proves that riding motorcycles keeps you young by invigorating your brain.
“The driver’s brain gets activated by riding motorbikes” in part because it requires heightened alertness. In a convenient and easy environment, the human mind and body get used to setting the hurdle low,” he warned. “Our final conclusion is that riding motorcycles can lead to smart ageing.”

I've read stuff along those lines for years. The local MC shop had an article posted behind the counter for a while and the owner was giving out Mensa stickers for us to put on our bikes.

As with all things, "what doesn't kill you makes you smarter". The trick with motorcycling is to learn your craft, stay alert and, as well, have a little luck.:freaky:clap Healthy, wealthy and wise - well two out of three and bad.

Sounds like a much better procedure then a vasectomy to me. Us married guys can just tell the spouse we're out doing our part for birth control, LOL.

Just remember impotent isn't the same as dysfunctional............come to think of it with Viagra even that wouldn't be a reason to stop riding.:freaky

If you actually sit on the seat, youre not doing it right, FWIW.

It's only a problem if you're always sitting on your balls. Do what I do, keep 'em in your front pocket :evil
