Watching the tube over the weekend, and theres a add for a new chev truck. Person is ask "what do you do with your Chev?? Shows all sort of things, one is towing a bike trailer. Looks like a TT600 :eek1 on the trailer. Not sure, but its a yamaha for sure. Do you see it?? ED
TTR has an XT600 engine, so a lot of parts will fit. Check KEDO in germany for all the parts you need

I know I saw a post in here somewhere about putting an XT kick starter on a TT. I can't find it. Is the XT kicker more durable than the TT? My TT kicker is starting to bend a little and I'm considering my options. Anyone? Thanks, Kelly.
I had to look for this ad ED. Havent' seen it on tv yet but it's on Youtube. It's called "The Question." "The Question" | 2012 Chevy Silverado | Chevrolet http://www.youtube.com/chevrolet?x=us_showcase_1539 An ad for the 2012 Silverado.
I torn appart my tt last weekend to fix the rattle in the engine caused by a bad airfilter which caused a worn piston+cylinder. Engine amputation: Cylinder My next step is refurbishing a spare xt cylinder and placing it with new gaskets and a new piston. If the bike is than technicly o.k. I'll start with an optical facelift.
Isn't the bike on the far left a TT600 as well? That's exactly how my cylinder looked when I tore my top end down. Had another cylinder with an iron liner and went with a 621cc JE piston. I don't like the air filter design on these bikes. They don't like to seal well it seems.
How does it run with the extra 26cc? did you also replace the engine bearings and did you do a rework of the head? I'm considering to do so. Regarding the arfilter, is seems like it's combining a housing and the foamfilter from two different bikes, the two don't match it seems: I allready asked within another offroad forum if this is normal, because I think this will cause my next cylinder/piston to wear extremely fast too. Improvement options anyone?
I haven't really gotten a chance to pour the coals to it yet. I reused a base gasket because I tore the new one I had and being impatient I just HAD to get the thing running that day. It leaks. Also as I was checking the cam timing, I noticed some play in the main bearings. So, I'm going to pull it back down and fix my screw ups. Besides the 11.5:1 621cc piston, it has a ported head, Web motocross grind cam, K&N filter and a Cobra muffler. Plus I just got back my old Kei Hin 31mm CR Special carbs. I had these carbs on a similar '84 TT600 back in about '94-'95 and that bike was a rocket. It had a 11.5:1 standard bore piston, ported head, I believe the same grind Web Cam camshaft, K&N filter and Supertrapp muffler. These engines respond quite well to hot rodding mods.
Gentelmens, Need your help, I about to buy TT600S 1996 Belgrada and noticed that the dry weight of this lady is about 350 pounds (160kg). Does any one have specification of this bike (couldn't find one) and is it really that heavy? Any help will be appreciated. Attached is the photo. Thx Roman
