Title says it all. Bike was parked in front of my house, wife pulled up and thinks she puts her car in park. She turns around to talk to my daughter. As the car hit my beloved 950 she panics and hits the gas. Drags the bike till she slams it into a curb and drives onto it. Needless to say I don't think I'll be riding it to Baja in a week and a half.

You got it. Trip planned bike was all prepped and full of new parts like the $400 FLEXXBars that are now headed to a recycle yard. Wish that was the worst. Subframe for sure is toast. I hope she didn't bend the frame. I'm afraid that would be a death sentence.

No pics yet. I picked up my wounded bird, propped her up on the bent center stand and walked away. I went inside packed a bowl and poured myself a large glass of Makers Mark.

We all feel your pain. . . But really a pic of the wife sitting on it would be nice :rofl .
I hope she didnt follow it up with "honey its only a motorcycle, no one got hurt" :huh . Like everything the pain eventually goes away, just goes away a lot faster if KTM truck shows up with a new one for you.

Don't even want to think about a new one. My guess is insurance will barley cover the money I spent on set up.

Well done Grinderman. I keeping with this line of thinking, lets save the trip.

Woodchuck, if you can assess the damage, I bet we local 950 riders can get what you need to get you back on the road (short of a bent frame) in time for your Baja trip. Tell us what you need, let us help. I have an extra set of wheels I can loan...
