ISO Expert Routes

Anyone know where I can find Expert level rides in the Puget Sound area?
I ride a GS 1200. Im going out with a friend this weekend for 3 days and am having trouble finding expert level trails to ride.

Well most of the good stuff in the Entiat and Methow area is closed from the fires... here are a few good ones that are open..

Yellow Hill
Jolly Mountain
Boulder De Roux
Goat Peak
North Ridge / Mt Clifty

ya, post up some video of you on the R1200 on them easy trails.

So, what is a ISO Expert? Is this a rider with an Klim Adventure Rally Suit and a GS 1200, who is more than 50 miles from home? Or is this a rider who has competed in the Dakar Rally, Erzberg, Romaniacs, or similar?

What do you include in your definition of Puget Sound? Do you need to be able to see Puget Sound? Or, are you using Puget Sound as a general description of Washington State? Or maybe within XX miles of Spanaway?

What is your level of tolerance for damage to your machine?

A. Anything, as long as the bike can be fixed, even if it has to be hauled out. Assuming that's possible.

B. Anything up to and including a cracked side cover or bent swingarm

C. Anything broken off that can be strapped to the seat

D. Cracked plastic, or missing plastic

E. Scratched plastic

F. Dusty windshield


Answer these questions, then I might have some suggestions for you.

Also, as a caveat, I've ridden with N16HT5 and the trails he's taken me on that made me cry like a five year old sissy didn't even make the list he gave you. I wasn't riding no woolley mammoth GS1200 neither.

No need to read into my question. Anyone who has ridden with me know they are going to either have a great time or they are going to get beat the hell up. I dont wory about damage to my machine thats what they make money for, same as for myself thats what they make doctors for.

Why ride tough and arguably dangerous stuff on a gs when your bike list includes a cr 250 and xr 400? Most people look for advantage, not handicap.

Still don't know what an ISO expert is. Or what you mean by Puget Sound. Use the supplied list. Check back with photos.

First you need a ATV sticker a disco pass and don't forget a fishing license.

No bs, I'd like to see vids of "expert" routes. I can only imagine what that would include.

"ISO" to me calls up images of stern bean-counter types in white hardhats and safety glasses carrying clipboards. "Whatever you did here sonny, it is insufficient" standard not met.
