Yes sirree boys and girls it is time for that annual pass time, the College Footbll Pick'em.

As with last year there will be a valuable prize pack for the winner. Mr AbunchofSymbols Money of Mizzouri won a coveted (in Mizzouri anyhow) KU Jayhawk toothbrush- we weren't sure if Mizzourians knew what a toothbrush was but we sent it anyway, an ID lanyard and of course Jurgen's lotion.

This year the prizes may even be better, or not, depends on what Jurgen needs to get out of his garage. :lol3

I was born a poor black sharecroppers son. When I was 16 I set out on my own to see the world, my parents cried, but I had to go. I have a dog named shithead that likes to watch football with me. I will let him wag in a few picks.

:D The New phone books are here, the new phone books are here.

I'm talking about Goldfinger, BigBlue and Scott (though I think he's a regular just can't put the name with a screen name.)

    All are welcome.

All who finish ahead of Money get a gold star. :lol3

I put in Big Blue, at least I think that is mine. G-I-A-N-T-S Giants, Giants, Giants. And even more fortuitous, the Patriots wear blue too! Since my college option is Orange, I did not want to be accused that I made anyone die laughing.

I thought Big Blue was Michigan?

Or are you trying to co-opt that term the way Seattle tried to take A&M's "12th man" and the RedSox amongst others took "Raider Nation"?:lol3

    Syracuse?

You must work for ESPN. I believe 98% of each Syracuse graduating class goes there. :lol3

In. I went ahead and made my picks for this week. They don't have any points up right now, I am sure that will change by the end of the week and I will need to make changes to my picks.

I can not believe that College Football starts this week. :wings

I'm in. I'll adjust my picks tomorrow though now that the spread is out.

I really did try to find the answer on Yahoo, but I failed. In picking winners, are point spreads taken into account, or is it just straight up picking the winners?

I'm guessing point spreads from some of the posts I've seen, but still don't know for sure.

    Little help here guys? Thx

yeah, you're picking against the point spread. The spread will change a little during the week as Vegas adjusts to betting. So you're picking the games according to the spread.
