The old red-brick Hazel Bluff Road, just north of Universal. Windy day, but good riding.

I feel like I hardly get out on the bike these days! That's got to change. I think, actually, between pets dying off and kids growing up it will change soon enough. Looking at some of the Southern California reports seems to make today's snow flurries that much more depressing though. :deal

Weather has been warm, if not wet much of the time, but it's been good to escape the last three days..

Made a run through the Yellowwood State Forest yesterday. A little slick for street tires, but a nice ride regardless..

    I was home by dark..

Today I rode the ~100 miles to Champaign to check out the BMW dealer there. Rainy with temps in the low 40's, but again, a nice ride..

I'll be taking my daughter back to IU Bloomington in a week or so. Maybe I'll toss the KLX in the truck and check out that area.

Somehow missed that you got a new bike! Rather different from the KLR days.:rofl

Beautiful ride this evening with Pinktoad. I'd installed Rox Risers earlier this afternoon with a slightly-forward rise and might move them back just a skosh if I can puzzle-out re-routing the brake and hydraulic clutch lines.

    Spring is here.

It's kind of amazing how relatively-flickable the GS is without the boxes.

The seat alone was worth the expense. :deal

I'm trying, but life sure intervenes more as I get older.

Can't really complain at this point.

I'm loving this bike. For being the heavy pig that it is, It sure handles like a much lighter motorcycle.

I fiddled with some packing after my evening ride. Tons of storage but it looks like I'll still need a dry bag for my tent this summer.

    Hi John

Met you at the Attica ride that Kris_Kris laid out in Sep 2010. You and I (XR650L) were the only ones having trouble getting up that big hill in the back. Glad to see you at it again. I believe you are from the West side of the state. Where I live, you go South to you smell it, and West till you step in it. To get to Bloomington that is. :D
