Good to be smart about it. Lots of opportunities to ride in the future. Kick back and watch the action. Lots of teams could use extra support or even just a ride along. Heal up!

Thanks for all the upbeat words guys. I hope the other solo guys and teams do well and stay safe. With first hand and fresh look at this course all those that challenge and or finish are tough mofos.

Right now I'm in San Ignacio at the Rice and Beans patio, on my 6th beer and not wanting to end the adventure.

Here is to all the riders this year.

Damn sorry to hear you are out. Damn happy to hear the injuries are not more serious, and you are able to enjoy some beers and think about the next thing. Perhaps, the Mexican 1000 would be a good way to get your Baja fix, without having to wait a whole year! We'd love to see you down there in May!

B1KSOLO- The man deserves the beer anyway. you should buy him many beers just for the effort.

Radek-such a bummer. I was and still am pulling for ya! I've been in your shoes but never got as far as you did so I feel your disappointment. You might as well kick back and enjoy the rest of your time down there.after you get looked at. Bet you could find a comfy seat in a chase truck!

Real sad to hear the news Radek, hope nothing serious that needs mending , you are young and will recover well/quickly.

Maybe helping others as a crew member will give you enough 'energy' that will keep the fires buring until next year.

    Best of luck, gale
