Just under 5000 miles and I noticed oil dripping from left engine where the cylinder heads meets the side of the bike.
Gasket?...safe to ride 25miles to dealer?? no warning lights (yet)

eeeek - mine did that because it took a little "lay down" a couple of weeks ago.

You could pop off the cover, clean and dry everything and reassemble.

If your window level is good - ir not plumeting when running - you might be ok for the run to the shop ?

Are you sure its not the oil level window leaking and its just blowing back to the cylinder?

nope...not the window...first thing I checked. I threw some baby powder on it and it seems to be leaking on the top of the head right where it touches the engine block? I will call my dealer in the morning (warranty, warranty, warranty) but I'm bummed. Really now...leaky oil on my new beemer???

Why are you bummed? Its only a leak and you've got a warranty.

Check your oil level, adjust if necessary, ride to the dealer and ask how long it will take to fix.
