I don't get it either. I understand if you want to compare conferences, which is fine, but in my book, you only get one team. I could never root for SC.

You guys must hate the chanting too.

I cant explain it. I love the other SEC schools and the camaraderie we have. However, I'd like to see Coral Gables and Tallahassee fire bombed. :dunno

So Stanford v. USC this weekend. Stanford has taken the last 4/5. But Stanford had Luck. And SC has maybe the country's best duo wideouts.

I thought SC looked beatable in Syracuse, scoreless first quarter and 14-3 at the half. Syracuse did not look sharp and let the game go.

    could be interesting.

Ever seen the old T.V. series "Dallas"? That's the kind of family the SEC is. We don't like each other, and we plot against each other, but we're still family. We'd rather the crystal football stay in the family even if it's with the retarded cousin (Not necessarily singling out Auburn here.).

Don't read to much into it. Half the fun is watching the fans from the other teams squirm and whine so much. The S-E-C chant went viral as a response to the Big 10 disrespecting the SEC teams prior to the UF & LSU beat downs of OSU. Now it seems to be done more ironically like when UGA beat up on MO last weekend.

Meh, everyone has those embarrassing fans, I could give a shit. I'm an Arkansas alum and a fan through thick and thin. Makes me different from a Longhorn fan. :rofl

to me, it's always been more like a sibling thing.

I always rooted for KS in the NCAA, as long as the opponent wasn't MO.

Obviously, the SEC's success is unparalleled in college football history. There's no way of knowing for sure that if your conference had the same level of success, you and other fans from your conference wouldn't be exactly the same way. I could easily see Big 10 fans having the same level of respect and devotion to their conference as SEC fans has to theirs.

That is a stretch. The SEC has been dominant lately, but not always. I will agree, there is not much to compete with them right now.

I didn't mean that they're the all time greatest. I meant since we started winning back to back to back to back to..... crystal balls

I like that everyone is underestimating the Kiffin's. That is going to make the crystal ball game huge. And they will come to play.

I was thinking the same thing. I want one of those. I just want a Mercury for power.
