kind of a bizarre sign, all I know is thats the point where it usually becomes interesting.

    No winter maintenance.
Sprint to Fall - Limited maintenance.

The pavement abruptly ended for me and my grom lastnight. I like to treat my grom like a motard, but I didnt have enough balls to ride through and test these waters. Worked out well though, had an intense gravel back road detour. (Yes,hardened muddy rutts and holes are intense for my 12" wheels! Lol)

Chip and seal ended, then the dirt ended shortly thereafter...

You can't see it in the picture, but the pavement ends at a 4 way... three gravel roads in three different directions. It was raining off to the right, but I just got some sprinkles on my visor.

We spent a last weekend at Wallowa OR and had a great time. Wifey & I took a ride up state route 3 and then down to a little wide spot in the road (Troy) for lunch. :D
    [IMG]
After lunch we headed south on gravel roads. Imagine our surprize when the road disappeared. :huh :eek1
    [IMG]
Made it thru on my XT250 and then brought Wifey's machine across too.

Had to celebrate a bit. :D

Took a ride out to Cape Spear this evening on my new-to-me Ninja 500R.

Cape Spear is the most easterly point in North America, on the coast of Newfoundland. If you haven't been, it's worth the visit.
