It seems to me that you did very well on your own, so why not travel alone next time?
I've travelled alone the last 20 years before starting taking my son with me 2 years ago, and I've always loved to be on my own. Nobody to argue with about how, when and where to go, eat, sleep etc. and on a bike you're never alone, always meeting people when you're stopping for breaks.
For travel suggestions, why not stick to smaller areas and dig more into it? You've got a pretty good overview of Europe now, so for example 40-50 days in Spain, France, Greece or whatever, and you'll have seen and learned that country/area very well. Just a suggestion...

For sure in a future I would like to visite once again Spain, France, Macedonia, Romania and Montenegro and just stray in those country. they have a lot to offer :)

It's something I've ever been thinking of, as I plan to visit all North America one day (dunno when yet, but one day ...), but I wonder if it's doable for a non-american to get a bike registered there, because as a traveller, of course there's no address on the US ground. Or would the only way to do it be to have the bike registered in the name of a US citizen ?
I think it would be a solution for a short trip, like one month or two, but for a longer trip, it'd be nicer to be on your real own bike. I mean the bike you've been riding for many years, and on wich you already have seen so many countries and got so many memories. (When I say "you" I'm talking for every one, in general.)

Hi, I was using Samsung Nx10 standard equipment. Pic's were made in .jpg I didn't have time to work with .raw format.

Read the "Alaska to Argentina " thread. They flew to north America and registered bikes.

It's true Turkey is a great country I've been there couple of times but unfortunately never on motorbike.

Oh, and I've "invaded" a curb with my bike too, like the woman you met. That meant a new wheel and tire! Ha ha...

Oh yeah, been there, done that.

It's not necessarily a mistake. Old friends may disappoint you too, such a journey with close contact over weeks and months may give new insights into friendships, good and bad. If it's a new aquaintance, a new friendship may grow - you never know in advance. Just be prepared to part, should tensions become too strong.

Usually it's the small things ... like one stops for photos often while the other wants to ride on: One feels pressured into making haste while the other feels pressured into waiting. Small, if it happens once or twice, but if the seemingly small tension coming from different attitudes or approaches to traveling grows over weeks ... well, you know how it ends.

Even if you're aware of it, it may happen sooner or later. But if you're aware, that it may happen, then the loss is smaller. Just be glad that you encouraged each other to start at all and had some good time together in the beginning.
