I have a question for the masses... If double reward points where advertised when an order was placed should the person get double points even though customer service claims double points ended two days prior the order?

You gotta always read the fine print....

However, if it was advertised as such then yes, they should be liable for the points. IMHO

It's not like they are losing any money on the points deal. Just sales margin.

You may need to get a CS manager on the phone to clarify. Remember that the people on the front line are not decision makers usually. Just filters for processes already in place and interpreting them as best they know how.....

Hell I thought I did read the fine print... Don't recall an expiration date listed... All I remember is it saying for a limited time...

    Yo Nitro1970,

I work with Motorcycle Superstore, and this is definitely something that we can clear up for you to make sure you get those double points you deserve for that order. We're so sorry for the holdup and confusion, and we'll make sure you're taken care of. Just shoot us an email to pr@motorcycle-superstore.com with your order number so we can look it up and add those points to your Rider Rewards account.

    Thanks for shopping with us!

    Shiny Side Up,

    Graham from the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Team.

    Hey Nitro1970,

Got your email yesterday. Did you get my reply? Just wanted to make sure that our solution was okay with you and double-check that there wasn't any confusion.

    Thanks brother!

What the hell are these "reward points", and why do I care? And, no, I didn't read the print, fine or otherwise. :lol3

I hate 'points'. Just give me a good price and be done with it. :deal

Disclosure: I have spent, and will continue to spend, a lot of money at m-s. They are in all respects a very good Internet retailer. Excuse me now as I gots to go look up how many points I have.
