Harleys, Victory's, BMW's, Triumph Trophy?, Wing, FJR and Super Tenere. Is that it? Most of those are >$20k as well.

It is odd to me that cruise is not on more bikes. Out here in the west, especially with the increase in speed limits, cruise is a godsend that I dearly miss going from my Road King to the 2012 Tenere.

If fear of legal action is an issue, how come so many bikes are available with cruise control. Almost all the big touring bikes have it, domestic, Asian or European.

Most people don't routinely ride long distances, why would you need cruise control for riding around town to the local gathering place? Just look at the mileage of used bikes, they are very low, most bikes get barely ridden, therefore cruise control is not a feature people care about... But they do care a lot about the price tag.

Dunno. Seems like it should be a pretty simple bit of technology. Every car has cruise these days.

Once you have it, it's hard to go back. I use cruise all the time. Even in metro areas, it can keep you from speeding and running into ticket trouble.

Are they all throttle by wire? May be the easiest way to do cruise on a bike? :dunno

Don't be such a silly..... :nono

You may wonder why you'd want cruise control on a motorcycle until you have it and use it all the time. :deal

Ditto heated grips. Thought I would only use them in "really cold weather". Now whenever there's even the slightest chill in my fingys I dive for that switch. :lol3

Becuase the throttle rocker is only known to those that really want cruise. No need for it.

....EVERYBODY ON THIS FORUM COMPLAINS ABOUT HOW MUCH BIKES COST AS IT IS.

You folks complain that Honda has lost their minds for what they charge for bikes, and then you complain that they don't have enough features.

    Come on, man!

Heated seat, heated grips, (rider and passenger) cruise control, what's not to like? I don't feel guilty about the electric start either...

When I bought my new bike this month they had another there with cruise. It was 2,000 dollars more. I just found the HD OEM cruise can be added for $250 plus labor. I will probably install it but will have to take it to a stealer to get the ECM flashed to recognize the cruise. I have been quoted 50-100 for that. We will see since I still have to order it.

I added a Rostra electronic cruise in about a day- working carefully to route wires neatly. About $200.

Cruise on a MC is one of those things that you REALLY appreciate once you have it. Am I a weenie for having it? I don't really care.

Just being able to take my right hand off the grip for more than a few seconds is GREAT. And I'm not constantly looking at the speedo.

Have criuse on my truck and car. I rarely use them. The only device I've ever used is that simple piece of plastic you attach to the throttle that allows the heal of your hand to assist in holding the throttle open. I can't remember the name of it but it only cost me 10 bucks. Wish I had come up with the idea.

There is no cruise control because the Japanese, Italians, and Austrians don't get it. They don't understand the demographics or what people want.
