My previous version was 2.1 and a bit I think.

This is my first bash with Base Camp.
V6.0 looks great to me and a basic route
in Sydney took me a reasonable way so I
probably won't be reloading my City Navigator v7
which is quite a few releases behind.

    I also went with a 4gb card

In the State Forests I'd prefer more contrast
between the Roads and the background. The
Trails stand out well in black and white but the
Road is a white against a pale green.

Looking at a paper Topo map,
I just discovered that in Cpt 101/1, the Cpt stands
for Compartment in a SF. Not sure what the /1 does yet.
Is it the first offshoot? as there are 101/2s.

I use Memory-Maps for NSW. A little pricey but great detail. I find it easy to set up a track and load to my Garmin. No need to use Basecamp.

Paper topo maps can be printed to A4 ( or if you are lucky to have an A3 printer ) as required with the nominated track.

Cpt 101/2 probably represents No.2 track running of Cpt 101 track. Most forestry compartments don't have through tracks but are dead ends ( in my experience ). Maybe a Forestry employee can clarify.
