I have been off for awhile, Dainbramages' dad died last week. Been spending time with him getting his head back on right. Wife got back last week from seeing her dad, lung cancer. So I am not on top of stuff. I will scour the thread for the maps and download.

I will be there but I will probably be scatter brained.

I see I am in a group called "small fries". Not sure what is up with that. Is it small bikes wanting to stick together? Thats cool, but my F650GS Twin bounces me out of that category. I would like to be in a group called "Molasses", "races with snails", "Turtles of the West", or something like that.

The name is just a play on Arnie's name, it has nothing to do with bike size.

Just a reminder all, you're not considered "IN" until you've registered for the ride here:

http://www.SoCalDualSport.com - Then click "Click here to register" (It's free)

There is currently ONE spot left for this ride.

Why do you need to register? This is a private campground and we have to produce a list of everyone's name at the gate.

On a site note, after 50 there is a 'wait list' that you can sign up for. If someone drops out of the ride, you will have the ability to take their spot. The wait list has the max set to 10 so if you miss the 50 person max cut-off, I'd suggest putting yourself on the wait list.

    ** EDIT **
All 50 spots have been filled

A reminder that I'm a dirt noob, so I'll ride with whoever'll have me. As long as I get there in one piece I'm good!

Oh, and I'm on an XR650L. The group list has me riding a ??. One of the lists on the website shows my bike, one doesn't. However I managed to fuck that up, hopefully that's not a bad omen.

I'm still in. On the list. Riding a Scrambler fairly slow. It's my wife's birthday on the 5th, so we rented a cabin at the same campground and she's bringing the kids in a chase vehicle. That should lighten the load! Looking forward to it!
