You park on main street in Sturgis and you find your bike surrounded the entire time with guys (dressed like Pirates) who are repeating "What is that thing?" or "Who makes KTM?"

    :rofl

When you pick up a sweet RC51 as a stablemate, but have only ridden it 3 times in the last 3 weeks because you are to busy riding the 950.

When a cop pulls along side and lights you up with his searchlight and gives you the thumbs up!

When you get hoots form people next to you at stop lights aafter they have been staring and, mesmerized by the coolest, trickest clutch cover from CJ Designs where they can see your clutch spinning round and round.

umpteenth = at least 200k miles = 4 rear drive BMW failures, 10 fuel pump failures, and at least 2 or 3 CAN bus wonkyness...and a second mortage to pay for it all.

I was riding the other day, I noticed that I had a speed wobble at 90. I thought that was quite strange as I don't usually get those until over 100..... Must be that worn down TKC on the front :lol3

When you foolishly sell your 950 and buy a BMW 1200GSA and then a couple of years latter start frantically looking for a near new 950 to to fill that hole in your soul.

all of the above (yes, I just found this thread and read it start to finish)

    and, when ...

you farkle it up with a Zumo, and then bitch about it cause when zoomed in far enough to just see all the "little roads" you like to explore you then can't see far enough out to navigate effectively, ... at the speed you are traveling. :D

When you rationalize a $50k garage shop explanation as a reasonable service expense for your $10k motorcycle.

You ride to the outdoor shooting range in hunting season to find the parking lot full of $60,000 "tricked-out" pickup trucks, all benches occupied with tens of thousands of dollars of rifles, optics, stands & fancy ammo...

...and EVERY person stops, turns around & stares trying to figure out what the hell you just rode in on, open Akra's thump-pumping away as you hang a U-turn to get the hell outa there and ride out into the middle of no-where so you can shoot in peace & quiet

    :lol3
