Yeah that's because you are a cheat. :nod

Remember how hard that bike was to push when the batteries went flat. :lol3

    Great idea. :clap

But apparently it is a bugger to push if the batteries go flat, and won't climb hills with low batteries. Then again you would be fit enough to ride it without the batteries unlike girly Brute. :lol3

It was a pleasure to have Dorthe on the "Spring Thaw" Ride this year and especially nice to finally get to meet her in person after seeing and reading so much about her trips and exploits in Oz here on yje forum... including her forays out with you Chix 'n Stix girls.

VĂ¥rrundan (Spring Thaw Ride) has had a number of female participants over the years since 2005 (the "Rose among the thorns" award - as it has previously been known - has been awarded to four or five lady riders in past years). But when GSDane turned up (with her big smile and charming aussie/danish dialect), it seemed to me that an "homage" to your little group of Oz adventure ladies was apt. :D

Which got me to thinkin' (Dorthe and I actually discussed it at breakfast on the sunday)... If you girls ever do decide to put on a ride; where you relent and allow some of those pesky penis weilding riders attend...

... then you can always title it The "Prix in the stix" ride. :lol3

Stand up (to pee) comedy at it's very worst. :evil

    cheers. :wave

Don't think that will happen Troy, don't think the boys will be able to tolerate the topics of conversation or the laughing and chatting. :D

Gee, even some of the Chix were complaining on one of the trips that I have been on about the topic of conversation. :nod :lol3

We need to be able to complain or talk about the "Prix" for the weekend without any of them being able to defend their gender if required.

I like your suggestion, quite likely to be a bit of a cold wet bog hole in there at this time of year though. Still keen? :D

I was thinking of something including ridge line tracks like Porcupine Ridge rd and Limestone Track. Not so much wetness up there. Maybe some stuff out towards Heathcote, there are some lovely little dirt roads out there.

Troy I quite enjoyed your "pee comedy". We miss GSDanes big smile.:cry
I love to join in on your Spring ride one year, sounds like lots of fun.

+1: I think you just lost Liz & Bronnie as participants..... Pity, as she was hoping to have her Husky Terra by then too.

Hey, Jane! Long time no see. I'm obviously way underqualified for the chix ride itself but if you need to do any reccy rides beforehand give us a shout. If the 'Train is at a loose end on the Stix weekend, I'll be in Benders at this stage. Might be my last chance to get an ADV ride in before the WR goes on to rec. reg!
