    Who's in?

    September 17, 2014 update......

I spent the last 800 days traveling around the world on two wheels, a few airplanes and a couple of big boats. That story is documented on my ride report listed below "Around the World in 800 Days". It was a life changing experience for me.
I originally had no plans to continue traveling beyond those initial 800 days. But the world is a big place and i could not cram it all in to those two years. I only had enough funds to travel those two years and do it the way i wanted. Looking back, i would not have changed a thing. Not wanting to stop, i worked my ass off in Alaska during Salmon season this summer to raise some money. I also sold my pride and joy on ebay to keep my passion alive and see the rest of the world. I still don't think i have enough money to see the entire world, but i think I have enough to keep me going for a while again.
Tomorrow, i will reunite with my BMW and continue on for another 800 days. I will be visiting another 50+ countries and this time it will include Africa.
Another change is i won't be doing it alone, at least in part. I have companion with me that will be much more than just a passenger. There will be alot of fun times ahead. If you liked the first 800 days, i hope you will be following along. And if you weren't with me for the first part of the ride, i encourage you to read my ride report from the last two years. It has nearly 2,000,000 views and will be guaranteed to raise an eyebrow. And it will probably fill in a few blanks if you are just joining in.

Learned about your original report from a seat manufacturer back in January. Have followed ever since. Was disappointed by some of the attitudes expressed by some of the inmates on the previous report. Hope that all of that foolishness is in the past and look forward to the next adventure.
