On a ride today had a great action shot of a buddy going down in a puddle on his DR650. only thing hurt was the ego... [/IMG] [/IMG]
Awesome, there's nothing like going down in a river while your friends are yelling at you "shut the bike off!". No Kidding shut the bike off.
Sure there is, when you're the photographer from the Lawton, Pa dual sport -- Baldy liked this one enough to give it front page status
I have an awesome pic of Corser going down in turn 4 @ Laguna (on Ducati, late 90's) It was practice. Hands on bars, face staring at the front numberplate, feet pointed straight up to the sky, in deep gravel.:eek1 He didn't get a scratch.....up and on his backup bike withing 15 minutes. Took the photo back the next year for an autograph and he would not do it. Said it was bad luck to autograph a crash photo. OK, too bad for me. Entered it in a local photo contest and won $100 bucks.
My buddy's pic, from a local enduro: The guy wasn't hurt, and I must give him credits for still hanging on to the handlebar And heres me, screenshot from a video:
I had fought like hell trying to make it up a pretty gnarly rocky section about 40 yards long prior to this shot. It was really rocky, from softball-basketball sized rocks, and a creek running right down the middle. It took a solid hour for me to make it to the top, only to drop my wet boot on the slick rock and just SLIDE! Haha it was fun, but I couldn't stop and felt so helpless. My good buddy Myk did the only honorable thing and snapped a shot of my despair. He snapped many more of the carnage prior, but I'll save that!
