Sticker bombing my plastics (DR650 SuperMoto)

    i hear ya! bike reno's and mods NEVER end...but we wouldnt do any of it if we didnt love what we do. the bike looks wicked and it looks like was a fun project.

    Thanks. It was a fun project and kept my mind off of work and other stuff.

    I will update with some more mods/chages I have made. I am in the middle of moving to a new place and am not finding the time.

    Have some tweaking to do with some of the plastics. Maybe will update with some ADV stickers.
    Have a couple of clear coats to go over again.

    Finally got around clear coating the plastics and the tank yesterday. The battery dying on me and this past weekend not having any rain was great timing.. Will update pics soon.

    Though a couple of places, there was a run of the coat, so might have to look into how to get rid of that. Any experienced painters gimme some tips?? (Or I will have to spend some time researching online)

    Haha, well that's honestly the best way I know of to get rid of runs. Some very fine sandpaper and a spray bottle full of water...then buff it once it's slick.

    Wee is a blast. Just went down to Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum this past weekend on it. Comfy is an understatement.

    I like it! It looks like something that Keith Haring would have done for Swatch back in the '80's! Rad! I'm sure you won't be hard to spot if you roll through Wilkes on that thing!

    Im only selling because of health issues. I have tendinitis on my right wrist and upper back issues from a recent accident.. Im going to stay away from riding at least for another year.. :cry
