....not quite the trip I'd planned, but still one of the best 'biking adventures I've ever had....

    Nice pictures !
Hope you enjoyed visiting my country. The BuckRide offroad rally takes place near Vågåmo and Lom, so you passed straight through our playground. Had I known you were going through Vågåmo I would've insisted you go up to mount Blåhø (see the link in my signature).

Happy to see you had nice weather in Geiranger aswell. The place is heaven in good weather and hell in bad.

Too bad you didn't make it all the way to the north cape. There's ctually not much to see, other than continental Europe dropping into the sea, but it's fun to have been there.

    Come back anytime !

I'm always amazed at your discipline when riding, in that you stop and take pictures. If I stop to take a picture, the fun of the ride starts slipping away, and it "seems" like I'm working as photographer (ya, like I'm photographer... ha). I always enjoy your photo shoots/rides, and will probably always be amazed at your discipline and artistery.

    Glad you like the pics......

I must admit that I don't stop just to take pictures but more like take pix when I have to stop anyway......some of the best images of the trip are in my head, 'cos I was too busy enjoying the ride, and didn't want it to end....

This winter I'll be experimenting with a helmet-cam, so that I can record images on the move, shoot what I see, so to speak......

I'm not a professional photographer, just a snapper, but my family & friends seem to like to see where I've been, and as you know a picture is worth a thousand words.......

Now, if you'll excuse me I must plan the next trip..........:evil

Awesome pics, Dutchdude. Glad to see you're enjoying your tinted visor :): . I went to Norway in 1999 and 2000 and I really want to go again next year (but then more GS style :evil ). Seeing your pics makes me even more excited about going.... now if only that *@# winter could be skipped. We've had winter last year, why again now ? Just to have something to look forward to ? Then again, snow can be fun (me end of june 1999 on my PC800 in southern Norway):

Dutchy, really nice. You've got to stop flaunting the fact that all you do is ride ride ride, however. It makes us poor working stiffs miserable.

Did you get a new camera? The pics look like they stepped up in sharpness.

You mean there's more to life than riding...........?:evil

Same camera....Canon PowerShot S110; but I did set the resolution to 1600x1200....seems better for the landscapes, especially if much cropping is done........
