Hi Brandon. Maybe you already know the way but here's a track of a recent Daggett ride. Glad to share the GPX for that or other trails up there.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this almost is starting to sound like a party. A Daggett Creek Posse?

    Count me IN!

I'd like to join you all in the Daggett ride. Haven't done that one yet but have wanted to for a while.

Here's a video from last weekend. We rode a little of the William Pogue National Recreation Trail then turned onto the Corral Creek Trail. Trail head is passed Twin Spring Resort on the Middle Fork Road above Arrowrock Reservoir. If you're in a rush, just click forward to about 9:40 and watch a minute or so for some interesting exposure. :evil

Thanks for sharing the video. I rode that the opposite way on my FE450 and was wishing I had my trials bike. Some of the parts around the 10 min. mark in your video had me off my bike and walking the trail before going on. :huh Of course I did not take my video cam. I really wanted a video but do not want to go ride it again. :rofl

Hey SCExpat, was that you guys up on Humpty-Bumpty last Sunday? I think there was an FE450; and XR400; and maybe blue bike? I stopped on my KTM, we chatted for a second? We also ended up coming down Rocky Canyon at the same time?

As for the Daggett Creek extravaganza, how about we make some plans for that to happen? Is everybody (ANYBODY?) available to go tomorrow morning? Say, around 8:30 am? I am going to roll up there and do some exploring.

If ANYBODY wants to join, shoot me a text at 860.4076.

    Hope to have some company.

Palms started to sweat just watching that. Thankfully, my wife said I'm not allowed to ride trails made safe only with a parachute.

Not me. My bike is parked waiting for the rear Tubliss to be put on. I can only hope that will stop me from getting so many flats.

So I ventured up to what I THINK is Daggett Creek this morning.

I went up 8th Street, got onto the Ridge Road; and took a left towards Bogus Basin. About half-way to Bogus, there is a trail that drops off the ridge to the right (north).

I took that about a mile and half down, and got to this cabin.

I then went down-creek about 2 miles. Maybe .5 to .75 of that was actually IN the creek.

Got to a clearing that had a pretty steep hillclimb out of it, and with that being an "unknown", I went back up the creek, and climbed out.

I dunno if that is Daggett or not.....

Sunday 7/6 7:30am I'd like to ride out from Jackson's on Bogus, ride up 8th, Humpty, Clear Creek, FS 366 to the Boise Ridge rd. behind Bogus and then on to Hawley Mnt. Lookout. Return west of Hawley to Horsehoe Bend, Old hwy.55 and then depending on the heat, Pearl to Eagle or back down Hwy.55.

Was planing on being out that way this morning with my wife but last night found her bikes rear brake not working... Thought it just needed to be flushed to get some air out but after attempting it several times I am sure the cylinder is toast.

Parts order comming up, and one lost morning to a bad part.:cry
