It's a wee bit loud. Not too bad with the quite inserts, though. The conversion was done with 98% OEM/hardparts. I had to modify 2 seat pans to make it work( tank back SMC/ front ADV). Otherwise it was a waiting game for all parts to show up, about 8mo total. Thanx to the guys @ktmhutt for helping me with this project. It's a different beast now. I'm glad to have it done.
How much $$$$$$$ is it? So you bought: Subframe Airbox Plastics Exhuast Taillight ? Will all wiring and battery etc fit bolt on?
So what is the benefit of doing this? Simply to get a large, free breathing airbox? BTW, it looks great and you did a great job!

I stopped looking at receipts months ago. I had to relocate the starter soleniod, rectifier and fuse block. All lengthened conections were sodered and shrink tubed( marine grade). It has a fcr41 carb. Spent lotz of time scrolling through microfische. Alot of little pieces parts.
Awesome. I love the whole thing. I don't know why they come set up the way they are from the factory. They should be like that! Instead of being sort of doggy a 600cc+ bike should have some grunt. I bet that one grunts. I notice your exhaust has 2 mounts per silencer. My system only came with 1 carbon mount. WTF? I had to cough up another $45 for another mount and it still isn't here. It looks and sounds sweet though. I bet 2 are better than 1.

A metal working friend is helping me fab up a proper skid plate and small rear rack with grab handles. Glad you all like it. Still go'n through the first tank of gas. I'm curious what kinda range I'll get.
