This sounds like a great time! :nod I am kinda new to all the lingo here so bear w/me. Are there or will there be other women riders? I am an intermediate rider. I have a 400 dual sport and I'm really comfortable on it and LOVE to ride. Will this be a good ride for me to go on? And if so where do I sign up? Thanks.

That's a great bike for DV as long as you have a big tank.

I do have a desert tank and a lot of other stuff done to it so it's more dirt than road. Thanks.

Yes, I'll be there and there are several other women riders signed up (check the first post).

I rode with this group at Kennedy Meadows last August and Joel did a good job of splitting the group into noobs, intermediate and advanced riders. I rode with the intermediate group and had a blast.

The more gals the better! See you there!!

We can pretty much count her out now. She would have to be super moto crazy to show up to a place called Death Valley, knowing that a punk with a skull avatar will be there, willing to kill to get what she's got. Pat, assure her that it was just a figure of speech. Or was it???

wow, the things i say. i just want the wheels, not the bike. i wouldnt want to kill for a klx, maybe a new husaberg 570 though :augie.

(by the way, im joking. i wouldnt steal anything from a inmate, much less kill them. maybe get them drunk though:freaky...)

sign here! but we need to know your sleeping preference.... i mean tent, hotel, rv, etc. see post #1 for more info.

we don't have any more room for trucks and bigger vehicles. it is possible those who made their own reservations have a space for your truck, etc. motorcycle camper will get preference when someone backs out simply we can accomodate 3 or 4 of them for 1 pick up truck.

i'm sure all you girls are tougher than some of the men! for this event, put together an all girls ride...that will be epic! and make room for some men who ride like girls....:D

mat, you forgot to say bring a spare radiator hose....:ddog

No problems. Check for vacuum and inspect the vac hose. Can't you run it on prime?

I tried running on prime, checked the gas cap vent line, but didn't look at the vacuum hose. I will do that. sounds kinda like a no brainer but am not a mech of ANY kind.
    thanks

engine off - apply vac to the fuel valve... does it flow?

and yeah, check that fuel tank vent. what kind do you have? valve or open hose?
