    I like food :D

Here is a pics of our local food in Croatia. I am sorry, I am not sure that there is translation to English. We call this 'hladetina' or 'žuljica/zuljica'.
It is made from pigs, and it is combination of pig fat, skin from pig and peper and salt. During winter time this is very popular. It contains lots of calories, it is not food for models :D

If you like coffe this is originaly from Bosnia, but also very popular in Croatia. Turkish coffe

This meat broth jelly is also popular in Russia, Byelorussia and Ukraine, goes under a very similar name ( you would understand it easily if you heard ) of студень [ studyen'] or холодец [ kholodyets ] Rus / холодець [ kholodets' ] Ukr or simply холодное [ kholodnoye ] Rus / холодне [ kholodne ] Ukr - an adjective that means cold, just like hlad in your language. Usually it's called aspic in English.

And you can also get Turkish coffee ( done on hot sand rather than on open fire, right? ) everywhere in Crimea where it's trad. Crimean Tatar way of making coffee and in W. Ukraine where it had come ages ago with Turks and Tatars.

Georgia is that one Godblessed place in the world with all things just right: men are men, women are women and wine is red.

There's also this line in one old film which title escapes my memory, doesn't really matter: " Back home in Bulgaria we have one hundred thousand beautiful songs about red wine but only one about white...it goes:
    Ooh white wine, white wine,
Ooh why oh why aren't you red?! "

    Meat, just meat.

    No additives.

    No preservatives.

    No technologies.

    No chemistry.

    No packaging.

    No nothing.

Just fresh meat, hot charcoal and a little of time...the smell to die for and to kill for. Prague, CZ.

I know what to order now when I'm east of Eden in the land of Nod, (see above) but closer to home, South Florida has it's own brand of fast food, Cuban style, helpful for those needing fast eats.
