Today I had a first. I finally did some laps on a proper road course. I drop by some of the tracks in the area on my rides in the hopes that one way or another I'll get to do some laps. No luck with that until today. Nobody was around at the track at Munmak, just west of Wonju, and there wasn't much effort put into keeping people out. I just rode through the weeds on the side by the river and I was on. Just 10 quick laps, to see what it would be like. Kind of scary, it turns out, especially with sand in areas from a recent rain.

One of the sandy areas that caused some puckering. I was glad to be on a mellow bike for these tighter corners.

My brand new Tourance is officially broken in. It got kind of greasy after about 5 laps. And I could feel the gaps in the blocks on the edges causing some slipping when pushing it. I never got to that point on the street before.

Sneaking out the back. I think I put the V-Strom's versatility to good use today.
