Oddly enough I like soldering - so much I did it for living "several" summers back. Bikes ready!... house not so much
Blue Hill area may be one of the stops... or earlier, depends when Hunter starts to complain about riding the LC4 to Cape Breton (disclaimer: since he's on such a "comfortable bike" we are going to cheat and truck the bikes to MA and stay a night with Librarian)
That is a great idea... Then you can really enjoy the trip And spend a few more days ... And ya got passed all the city crap
Things to consider; Castine Cape Rosier Stonington South and East Blue Hill Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park West Quoddy Head (easternmost point in the US) North of Belfast you can pretty much hug the coast and take a lot of the side roads down to the fishing piers and stuff. Rt.1 in the Searsport area is pretty crowded in the summer, lots of straphangers. South of Augusta will be mostly larger cities. The Bagaduce Lunch, that I pictured before, has the best fried clams on Earth, if you're into that sort of thing. The new bridge in Bucksport has a cool observation deck in the west tower. My brother and his wife own Blue Hill Disposal. If you run into trouble in that area I'm sure he wouldn't mind lending a hand.
Have fun you two! and tell Librarian something from me..whatever you feel like. Should be able to handle an LC4, no?
apparently our vacation will be a trip between the Wedge. Green Man, Highwire, Highland, Burrial, LAB, Wicked, and Pisgha (I know I skipped a few of the local breweries)
