    Cromaggers, hi!

    Thank you for following me!

As you can probably tell, I really love showing you all around some of my favorite roads and places.

    My Rally Mistress philosophy is:

    Try to be timely.

    Keep moving more than sitting.

    Ride at a brisk pace.

Spread things out a bit so everyone can ride at their own pace, and not feel too pressured to keep up.

Work the "you're having a relationship with the rider behind you ... wait for them" system.

    Stop to count noses periodically.

Make sure we have a great place for breakfast.

Take a few minutes out now and then, for everyone to commiserate and bond.

Allow the circumstances to push people's limits a bit, making them better riders.

    Keep everyone safe.

But most of all give everyone a great time and an awesome ride!

    How's all that sound? Suggestions?

    Enjoy,

    Liz

    Hi Liz............

Don't change anything!! Your two rides were primo: the pace was enough to get my attention, but not enough to get a pucker grip on the seat; the scenery went from shaded Class IV to sunny pastures and farmsteads to paved sweepers. I've never enjoyed group rides more than yours.

Do we have to wait until the next Cromag for more of your rides?

    Liz,

Your riding is an inspiration and your Rally Mistress skills are off the chart .... oh, and your ability to arrive at a most awesome breakfast place just as the last customers vacated the premises is uncanny. :clap

Loved the "brisk" pace and am glad and relieved we didn't head up that skanky logging road you checked out.

    muchas gracias.

Thanks Liz, I had a blast, had lots of fun chatting and flinging our scoots through your back roads of Vermont, lots to see. I will be back to follow you again next year. Thanks again, Craig

Liz, yes, I found your Friday ride well thought out and every one of your above checklist items were met and exceeded. You tired me out from having so much fun on Friday that I thought it best to rest a bit on Saturday (man, I hate to admit that) . I especially noticed and appreciated seeing you make a point to meet and talk to each rider to get feedback and make sure everyone was having fun. I will be looking forward to next years rides!

Love the way you communicate. A group that size of unfamiliar riders staying together all day long without a single separation is a testament to your skill as a ride leader. :bow:bow:bow:bow:bow

If anyone was taking pictures around the BBQ, got one of the banners...please post one or two.

Secondly, would there be any interest in adding another day to the rally, arriving on Wednesday night? Or is the current format just right?

It seems like I have all I can do to get there on Friday, but I'm going to shoot for Thursday next year. If there is enough interest for Wednesday, go for it.

I say we quit our stupid jobs and take the place over year round.

maybe we can beat the rich kids camp from across the lake at the summer games next year.

Here's my new Kermit chair that was patiently waiting in Newfoundland hoping for its first outing at CroMag only to be denied. Even a drunken fool could find it:lol3
