Read about the notorious Rossa custom-engined Lambrettas put togather by firstly Frank Sanderson & Alan Rosser in the UK. The two had a falling-out and Rosser went it alone. The particular 'build' shown above, is said to be a rebuilt Rossa 350 acquired later-on by Phil Golding, and which was further improved by Frank Sanderson. New exhausts were made by David Swarbrick (the originals were a Swarbrick Racing design), while Lambretta Innovations improved the fuel delivery and gearchange. In the No16 issue of SCOOTER (Australia) magazine it tells that about 12 Rossas are thought to have been built -- but several prospective owners are said as having contributed deposits, or complete amounts, and been left 'scooterless' . . so to speak! In addition, it would appear that not all units have the same parts. The story footnote says that Alan Rosser was shot dead in 1999, in his garage in Blackpool! :huh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1r10vlLUbig (YouTube - 51sec) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18GmfxUI1zk (YouTube - 20sac . . . another Lambretta 350 ypvs)
