I did the Adventure class in 2014 on my KTM690 - was epic and super riding. Torque Racing looked after getting my bike there, logistics and support - all top knotch. Have you more information on the Rally Light ? Will it be a shorter version of the rally class, and all road book? Will it be same route as Rally but ridden a day later / or same day so support staff are onhand? Will it be a combination of Roadbook and Garmin tracks / routes - so if gets too much on roadbook you can swop back to Garmin? The length of adventure class routes and technical skills required last year was great for me. Ben.
How will you set the difficulty level compared to last year for the bikes? higher or lower? There was a lot of discussion during the rally about this and many were surprised how difficult the riding turned out to be.
Basic Facts of the Rally 1. It is an amateur Rally, we definitely have some good news for some Top riders coming, but still is an amateur rally. 2. Last year's level proved to be OK with the majority although we had feedback it should be a bit shorter. 3. Rally Lite is 2/3 of daily klm with a separate liaison on the way back, roadbook with some GPS points for assistance, same service points as the rally class for your teams to get an easier job to do, later starting times amd license free. also cars will have some separate stages to do so we manage to have tighter time schedules and everybody is back earlier, harder for us but better for you. it will be more balanced for the highest possible percentage of the riders we expect, but new tracks so nobody gets bored, not even us while scouting.....

Info updated on www.hellasrally.org Rally Lite Class Roadbook Class with GPS assistance for newbies or hobbyists who do not want to wake up early and ride very late. 1600klm in total, sharing stages with Rally Class and some separate parts on the way to the bivouac. Rally Lite shares the same service points, regrouping and refueling points with Rally Class so service teams or support crews minimizes distances and complexity of logistics. Rally Lite is without any racing license requirements. Third party liability insurance is included in the entry fee, while a personal insurance should be in place or purchased at the administration procedure for a 100euros fee. Scouting has started and some surprises are to be announced. Some "desert feeling" parts will be included in the roadbook. Central Greece We have working on the roadbook all summer and we managed to get some really spectacular new parts for the stages. As winter evolves as expected average altitude of the race will be increased significantly offering some really spectacular places to race. What kind of tyres should I use for this rally? People with experience riding in Greece/Hellas rally are welcome to advise! Any ADV F. members who are competing at the Hellas?
