Front Page Photo Candidates

I think it is a cool photo and at least as interesting as yet another puddle splasher on a DR or Sunset on a GS. It reeks of an earlier time that I remember very fondly as forming my attitudes and desires about riders and the road. I am quite interested in the back story you alluded to .What gives??
