I rode up to darwin and put my bike on a boat and sent it to dili, then rode to kupang and then another ferry to larantoka in flores then rode to labuanbajo then another ferry to sape and another ride to sumbawa and a ferry to lombok then another ride and then finally a ferry to bali. So now im sending my hp2 to sydney and planning to go back next year.....to head to java etc... The reason i want to connect to other owners is to discuss a possible trip next year.
Ok hope i have answered your questions.

Gee... don't limit it to just HP2s Mike.

I didn't realise until I was half way back to my hotel that we didn't take a photo of your HP2 and my KTM Super Enduro together.

I'm back in Sydney and the KTM is locked up in Denpassar. Current plan is to head back to Bali in late January and head for Laos. Nothing firmer than that.

Oh yeah... sorry 'bout killing that bathroom. I'm still not over that! It nailed me. Shoot me a pm when you get back to Sydney and I'll see if I can make amends.

    Cheers
    Ian

Yeah u were sick, u will eat in those dodgy places lol. There was a bed there with air con and the works . Anyway great to meet up. Can i do anything for u here? Im putting my bike in a crate and sending it back to oz for a tune up, a booster plug and a service. Been having some fun on a few little tracks over here .......too much as it loosened the tripple clamps on the fron shock....my plan is feb to bali , ride to java, cross to batam and ferry to singspore, then ride up and around and through to get to india then hopefully middle east then across to portugul and then up the pyrennese to etc

It depends on work etc .

Dirt surfer, come along dude, as u know by now the big bikes get a bit killed in asia with stop starts and crazy traffic but still great when u get some space.
I did one stint which started 9am in the morning and finished 3 ferrys and many kms the next afternoon....sleeping for an hour here and there on the deck ......absolutely shit but now its done i still get a grin at the endurance we have when we call on it.....no i dont wantto do itagain lol....big fella was on a similar trip and we will meet at mybar in sydney. Chat later
