Anyone with a big head need a helmet. I have a XXL Scorpion EXO 900 for sale. It is a flip up modular helmet with flip down sun shield and a fancy pump adjust fit. They sell for about $250. This was worn twice by my dad. It is too big. It is like new. I am going to post it on the Fleamarket for $100 plus shipping. Real good deal to a local sell or interesting trade. :evil PM me. I am in Gloucester so will also post on Hampton Roads.

The V shaped pad is from some other unknown helmet.

I am thinking about leaving around 12 on Friday for the show. Eddie and I went to the show in NYC a couple of years ago and Friday afternoon/evening was uncrowned and more enjoyable. Anybody else interested?

I figure I will drive to Springfield and get on the Metro, hit the show, grab some dinner and head back after the commuters are off the road.

Todd, that looks like a sloppy mess!

Over the past few months, a few of you have asked about the GS Trophy Challenge and the type of terrain encountered. Please see link that was graciously shared by Bill Conger...There are A LOT of pictures. There are some really cool pictures of Andrew, some really embarassing pictures on me taking dirt/sand naps and some pictures of cool bikes! Enjoy! The worst/most difficult terrain should be found under day 2 in the woods and all day 3 pictures"

I am taking the wife and kids to the DC show for the weekend, usually we only spend 2-3 hours at the show and then enjoy the rest of the weekend swimming in the hotel pool, going out for good Cuban/Chinese/tapas, shopping and going to a museum. I hope to see you there!

I doubt that really ends it. I'm sure many hunters are perfectly happy to sit in the woods and hunt and borrow a tag from a buddy if they need to. :uhoh

So, OK. I post this every year.

York swap meet, 20 January 2013.

    http://www.potomacvintageriders.com/york-swap-meet/

It's amazingly awesome. I go up the day before and get try to mingle in the set up. That's where the real deals are. :D

If you are not familiar, it is the biggest (non-HD) swap meet in the region. Primary focus is vintage dirt bikes, but lots of street stuff shows up. Cool display bikes, too.

    Here's shots from 2011: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24248808@N00/sets/72157625891927828/

    And 2012: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24248808@N00/sets/72157629003508945/

Last year, I picked up a bike from my high school days for pocket change.

Well we survived the mud road, no one got shot or hurt, very muddy & wet...3 of the water holes splashed over the top of me as I shot thru them...Nicks bike stalled out after 2 of them...I fell over once coming up one of the hills when I got stuck in a rut & had to push the bike under power to get it to move.

Lot of laughs & really getting the hang of this big GS. What a great bike everywhere I take it, twisties, dirt roads, mountain fire roads, mud & sand. I think I'm really going to start pushing this bike!!!
