New Orleans to Arkansas?

What's the most scenic route from New Orleans to Arkansas? Time & distance don't matter...

What part of Arkansas you going to?

From Baton Rouge/New Orleans:
*US-61 to Natchez or LA-1 and LA-15 to Ferriday.
*LA-15 to Winnsboro.
*LA-137 to Oak Ridge.
*LA-133 to Mer Rouge.
*LA-2 to Bastrop.
*US-425 into Arkansas.

From there it's gonna depend on your destination...

If your destination is in the Ouachitas or the Ozarks:
*US-82 to El Dorado
*AR-7 North

Arkansas Highway 7 is a killer ride all the way from El Dorado to Harrison. It starts out in the swampy pine forrests of South Arkansas, passes through Hot Springs and the Ouachita Mountains, Across the Arkansas River Valley, then into the Ozarks...

I prefer the route out of LA via the Farmerville area vs Bastrop.

Any route that takes you away from New Orleans is a good one.

We will be leaving New Orleans Sept 17... I was looking at Hwy 1 north out of Baton Rouge... we are heading up to North West Arkansas but will wander to travel the best roads...
