On the fun factor today, I got the XR out for the first ride since reassembly. I likes that big thumper.
Thing's like riding a tractor. Rode up into MO with a fellow inmate who bought the WR from Njoy. Sho' felt good to get out on some back roads.

Time for warmer weather and a good daylong backroad tour.

Man, what a great Dakar. I so wanted Barreda to get on the podium, that guy rides like someone possessed. Probably why he crashed so often. But that kid has heart and he will be back. I think 2015 will finally be the year someone besides KTM takes it.

Yeah, KTM winning another Dakar. First and second. Ho-hum.

Didn't see any BMWs in the rankings. Probably all lost their sidestands on Stage 1.

And the highest ranking American rider was 74th. Some old dude from Texas. I so miss Kurt Caselli.

Got my Husky running today too. New rings in her and she snorts like the wild beast she is. Going up on the block soon, just to let you ladies know.

After 14 years of domination it'd be nice to see another manufacturer win. I'd like to think Despres still has something left in him to put a Yamaha on top.
