Dual_Tool9-3.jpg This is a tool that will make more room in your tool kit. The hex tool is made out of 7075-T6, aircraft grade aluminum for the front wheel and the black anodized part is a spark plug cap removal tool. The hex tool will also fit the the plastic oil cap. These tools fit together with an o-ring around the hex tool, to give it a friction fit inside of the spark plug tool. It's 1.5" long and 1.25" in diameter, and only weighs 1.8 ounces. The hex tool has been tested to 100 ft. lbs of torque, with no distortion. This is over twice the amount of torque needed for the GS/RT wheel.

    Made in Montana

Our tools will fit all of the R1200 series, including the new Wet Heads and the new 1250's!

You can also buy the Spark Plug tool and the Hex tool separately.

The Hex Tool will also fit a number of other bikes that require a 19 or 22MM hex.

Saw Chiba's Dual tool at a local club Tech Day and thought it was a pretty ingenious piece of kit. I have separate tools that do the job(s) of the Dual Tool just fine, but are not nearly as compact and travel friendly. They will stay on the shop shelf and the Dual Tool will be a welcome addition to my tool roll.

    Paypal sent.

    Thanks

We have sold this tool to several people that wanted something more compact and lighter than what they had.
    We appreciate all feedback.

My wife just gave me both tools for my birthday. Very well made! Tried the spark plug tool and it worked great. I haven't actually used the wheel tool, but the fit into the hex was really nice and it looks pretty sharp.

    Thanks!

It will not work on the front axle of R1100 or R1150 generation bikes. You need a box-end wrench or a socket (17mm IIRC but it could be bigger) for that.

I'll try it to see. I know the wheel tool won't work because the 1150rt doesn't need a special tool. I am hoping that the spark plug removal will work for both. I'll give it a shot and post back what I find out. Thanks.

Just ordered one so I can get my wheel off! Need a new tire and I don't want to pay someone to do something I can do. Plug cap tool is a bonus.

    Make it happen Promach! Thx.
