    Y'all,

I've been looking for an AK sticker that would <strike>show up</strike> wake up the drivers behind me. Turns out that there aren't many decent AK flag stix to be had, never mind a retro-reflective one.

I spoke w/ a designer today who can do a group buy of at least 20 stix using the same vinyl material that goes into the blue informational signs á la DOT, measuring roughly 3"x5" or slightly less, sized for a motorcycle or pannier.

Any interest? Does anyone know of something already available? I'm not concerned about the ADV or AK or ?? in the sticker; I just want a gleaming AK flag on my ride.

    Any advice?

I was looking for something like that too. Never found one I liked.
Any Idea what these look like. How much $$?

    I wanted something like this

    Not this.

But I did cut this part out of an "ALASKA" sticker & stuck it on the side of the Buell. It don't show here, but the stars are sparkly gold. They look good.

Hey this ain't another scam like your "power co paved the road" deal is it?
Never figured out what the point of that was. :huh

Seems like there's plenty of interest. :clap
I'll investigate the prices this morning and see if we can come anywhere close to the $1.99 plus S&H that these people offer. (Thx for the link, Texspeleo.)

That's exactly the rectangular style (2-3/8" x 4") I was thinking, rather than the stylized/wavy version.

See also: an oval AK w/state flag and US flag measuring 3" x 4-3/8"... the full presentation and also $1.99 plus S&H... hard to beat, really!

So, here's the situation: I'll meet the sticker dude this morning and report his offer for a run of 50 (fifty) pieces. I'll try for the 2.5"x4" size (or appropriate ratio) which will be small enough to place almost anywhere, yet large enough to offer reflective properties and flag recognition.

What say? If I can get 50+ pcs. for under $5.00 each, is there still a warrant for Alaska-grown love (the price on 20 pcs measuring 3"x5" was for $5.75 each)? Bear in mind that this reflective material will be Grade 5 or better DOT reflective specification and I'll push for really bright stars, too... and I can't know how reflective the mail-order version is.

I'm seeing a ready demand for a production run, with more to chime in... :ear
Or, would it be a lot easier and cheaper to get a hodge-podge of the $1.99 variety? This is a non-profit endeavor either way. I just want the dang stickers!
Bikes, cages, friends and gifts... might just go for 100 of 'em!

The style from the manufacturer is a somewhat less than I was visualizing.
Not is total size, in the STARz size!
I have found that the term reflective is also a hit and miss criteria. Some say it is reflective if it can be seen with a flashlight, in a dark room.
I'm hoping for a "real" reflective surface, sparkley even.

I'd be in for at least one, maybe two depending on what the final decision is (on which product).
