Knowing who else is out there if you need bike help, want to meet up for rides or general socialising. Don't post up if you're not in Germany or are going to be negative.

Not sure, I just know that British lifestyle is pretty contagious and ruins every decent cultural impulse in a human being. Beans in tomato sauce and greasy sausages for breakfast, porridge, plumpudding for Xmas? Pretty barbaric in my opinion. But then, this thread might save your life and keep you connected to the fatherland.
Or it could be the ruin of her & undo all the hard work I've done in the past years turning Pumpy in to a respectable member of the community, one who can hold her head up in public (by pretending she's Dutch). It's been a long & difficult task, with plenty of tears, wailing & much woe (mainly on my part) but at last I'm beginning to feel my work is done. Please delete this thread, I can't go through it all again (mind you, the additional income from the EU "Care in the Community for Disruptive Germans" fund will be useful as always ).
Hello, count me in!!! I´m living in the Sauerland-Region. 110 k´s east of Colonia. Right coming back from Tunesia Nice regards Martin

Hi everybody, I live and work in Ebermannstadt, east of Forchheim during the week, but usually drive/or ride home to Erding for the weekends. The "Fränkische Schweiz" ("Frankonian Switzerland", this region´s nickname because of its scenery) has got some of the best motorcycle roads north of the Alps. Rollercoasters.
totaly agree!! (learned to ride in the "fränkischen") and the best and cheapest beer in the (franconian) world Andreas (ex-Bayreuther - Oberfranke) ------------ some franconian english (do you know the german meaning?) - do left a eagle - people read a dry egg - day wise washed is fie diar
There goes incognito. If you visit Berlin, I'll happily advise which bar to go with a leather outfit, or maybe better not to go. I can't really help with great riding roads around here, no hills means straighter roads.
I also lived in the "Fränkische". Well, at least pretty close (Small village close to Auerbach). Moved to Munich last November.
Looks like we could organize some little ride for guys from the Munich are. Weekend into the Dolomites or Vogesen/Lothringen?
I totally understand your fears, but to calm you down - we won't take over the forum. At least for now. We make mistakes only once (twice). Zis time vee vill succeede.
