Great looking stuff Chris. I had a chance to meet up with Chris in Indy and check them out in person.

I might need some custom sets for some New dual sport/touring bikes we have in the works.

Talk soon Chris and keep up the good work. :clap

    I have a 09 400 xcw . I was wondering if a steering stabilizer is necessary . Will I need a new wiring harness ?

    Hello Chasedad,
Full stabilizer is not needed, just the submojnt tower. This tower ( I call it a collar) is needed to create an important support point on the kit. photo

Please let me know if you have any any other questions.

Have you talked to Scott or Steve at Scotts about having them make a custom collar for you guys that would actually capture that bolt? They do a lot of short-run custom stuff like that and it would be a really easy modification for them to make...

    Hey Jesse,
Have not. Most everyone in our world (KTM) were already running the Scotts damper. If you did not have one, and are running high speed rally type days, you should get one.
Plus, We are busy for getting out a custom kit for the 2013 Dakar.:evil (not Ned)

Oh, wasn't thinking that there would be much demand for a non-stabilizer mount. Only suggesting that it could be a nice feature to incorporate, even if only to give that hardware something solid to tighten-up against. Gonna send you an email about this.

So, who is planning on Dakar 2013 :ear

I see you are on the Mexican 1000 entry list. I assume you will be riding a Neduro approved Rally Moto Kit equipped bike? Looking forward to checking it out in person.

+1 I predict these kits will be a common sight in Dakar and other rallies over the next few years.

    Glad I can help!:evil

I just noticed, I did not answer your wiring question. Sorry that was not on purpose.

I do not sell a full wiring kit due to the fact that is usually a personal preference thing when it comes to these bikes. Example roadbook options, GPS options, ext. If you order the Race or Adventure Kit. This will come with a basic light harness from Rigid Industries. The harness includes an inline fuse & waterproof switch.

I also recommend the optional Fuzeblock. This makes the wiring process really nice, clean when you are adding a lot of electronics on your bike.
