I think someone who is a wiz with photo effects (paging Baldy to a white courtesy phone) could do a nice version of this for the front page slide show. Start out zoomed in on the bike, with the photo inverted. Then zoom out to include the surrounding scene / people and finally flip the image the right way around.

Fun Fact: On the german GS Trophy 2013, BMW supplied a handful of the new 2013 Gs's for participants to test ride them. Yes, test riding brand new 1200GS's without any protection in a quarry. Didn't take to long for all of them to be non-rideable anymore.
