So give me all the information that you have, good and bad, on a 1985 Beta TR32 trials bike. There is a very clean one for sale here locally for a decent price and I am thinking of getting it to play on. I do know that it will not be like a modern trials bike and do not expect that. It would be for putting around and maybe some novice work at the local trials events.

Thanks "J". Bill has one that he says is clean and if he does not sell it on the way home from Pueblo today I think I will pick it up. I just NEED another El-cheapo bike. :lol3

A TR32 is a fine old bike, but if I was looking for a cheap bike and aspired to novice level Trials sections I'd be looking for something like an XR200 or TL125.

I never heard back from Bill today so have to assume that he already sold it. Who knows. :D

Thanks for all the advice. I have had several trials bikes but little competition on them. What I did was a blast however. Someday again maybe. :thumb

    Hi Marc,

Bill had it at the trials in Pueblo, it didn't sell there, I don't know anything about them. But it looks a capable ride and I wouldn't mind having one...mind you I don't think it is as cool as a Reflex. How about a TLR/GB trade???

A TLR trade for a GB sounds like a fair deal. :lol3

I talked to Bill when he was down at the trials and he said he was meeting someone on the way home to show him the bike. He never called me back so I assume he sold it. I may give him a call later this week just to see. It is still on crags list.

I am not even sure why I want another one but they sure are fun and a good workout.

An XR200 is a trail bike which is totally different in frame geometry, gearing and engine power characteristics.

The Beta TR32 is a good bike, if it is in good condition and runing at least in Europe rare.
Sadly a monochoque, here in Germany where we begin to establlish the LuMo class now, (Luftgekühlte Monochoque = air cooled rear single shock). Beta's in good condition are beginning to be aftersought here:

I had a TR34 back in 87, very nice bike too:
